Re: Here's a good kit
great idea, noticed the price £590 do you think youd be able to put something together yourself for less?
Have to add when you said bug out box for 10 people I imagined some kind of pop up box that could house 10 people

Re: Here's a good kit
I have probably got all the kit, just not put into the box, and I would use Ebay or charity shops to source a lot of the stuff, the tent is the hard one as it is purpose made, but smaller tents not a problem, even a couple of the Aldi/Lidl two man types would be good for a small family.
Re: Here's a good kit
That's well worth £600. Some of the Vango tents alone cost more than that. And the Frontier woodburning stove costs well over £100 to buy!

Re: Here's a good kit
Maybe we should all think about what kit we would put into one of these boxes, whether or not we would actually do so is neither here nor there, the fact that some of us don't want to bug out is no excuse not to get involved.
This isn't a food box though, just what kit we would pack into our plastic box which has the following data attached
Capacity: 185 Ltr Weight: 7 kg
Load Capacity: 60 kg
Size (Ext): L 850 x W 610 x H 590mm Size (Int): L 650 x W 410 x H 485mm
Desc: Tough Amazing Value Large Capacity Trunk. 4 point detachable / hinged lid with moulded in padlock eyes.

And costs £37.52

Re: Here's a good kit
No, not the same....but bump keys are useful once you know how to use them (which I dont).
FB keys are just a set of standard FB keys that fit standard FB locks...the bonus is there are a lot of the FB standard locks in use but you only need a few standard FB keys to open them
