Im (we) are very much inclined to "Bug-In" rather than out and our preps have tended to be built up on that basis, although many preps will cover many different scenarios. Its not about prepping for any one particluar SHTF incident, we prefer to think its best to stay flexible and try to accomodate whatever comes along.
We're currently working on our personal fitness levels and learning basic emergency medical skills.
So much to learn and its all done "in the best possible tatste"

Sounds like you're on the same page as a lot of us, maybe not very rock 'n roll but nothing wrong with having a bit more 'stuff' around just in case. Good luck with the phys, hard to get and easy to lose.
