Thanks for the moon-pad link ;) As for washing the pads...I've used them for many years(one's that I bought on the internet originally) and if you have enough of them then it is pretty easy to manage it. i usually give them a quick soak in cold water or get a nappy bucket and soak them all in there.......and then put them in with my normal washing load and they come out as new. A tip: When using the pads I find I dont need to change the pad as often if I put a few layers of toilet paper on the pad too.
I will put up a couple of photos of my homemade ones soon. Some women may find buying a mooncup may be better for them if they are used to using tampons. I have one but didnt get on with it so well....but I guess I didnt give it a chance :?

Tonight I cut out a template first and then copied around the template onto some old T-Shirts of my daughters' for a quilt. So far after cutting them out, I have 8 squares, I will continue with it tomorrow.

I have never made a quilt before, and don't expect it to come out looking anything like a professionally made one to look like, but I love crafts and really want to make a quilt that will have more sentimental meaning to me than anything else.

Can't wait to have a finished hand-made quilt.
