Hi Guys, (and gals)
Greeting from Cheshire. I have been into prepping for about 12 months now and whilst I have been a member of an American survivalist forum, I have only just discovered this site.
I have started stockpiling food on a rotation routine. I have a number of Bug Out Bags, Wind up Lanterns, Wind Up Torches, as wellas some old style hurricane lamps and various other items from Firesteels to home made PJ Balls.
I have downloaded a lot of PDF files and printed them out. I also have a lot of survival videos on my Ipod in case of power failure. Don't worry, I have a hand crank charger to keep it going.
I have a couple of tents, sleeping bags, tarps, water straws etc. for a bug out situation although I plan to stay put as long as possible. I will bug out as a last resort. I have a couple of places in mind.
Well that is me in a nutshell, I will obviously add more about me as I go along.
Be lucky
Greetings from Cheshire

Hi there Bladerunner. It sounds as though you've had a very active and productive 12 months.

Hi Bladerunner, welcome to UKP. Whereabouts in Cheshire are you? I'm in Manchester, so not too far away.
What's a PJBall?

Hi,
Thanks for the warm welcome. I am in Warrington which is right between Manchester & Liverpool.
Sure has been a busy 12 months, especially with no cash to make it easier. I have been trading some items to try and get up and running.
Swapping is a great way to get things you might not be able to afford or even find for that matter.
Be lucky and thanks again for the welcome
