Hi all.
I am doing a lot of axe work lately and I want to put a CAT tourniquet and some celox gauze in the trauma kit in the car.
Can people recommend places to get reliable tourniquet's and celox from as there are a lot of dodgy torniquets around ( even the NHS has had problems)
Yes, before anyone asks, I am experienced in using Tourniquets and Celox
Cheers.

I cant now find the Youtube video I was going to post.
It shows how to buy the 15g Celox sachets and load the granules into new syringes before re sealing, instead of buying the pre loaded ones which are much more expensive. I will keep looking.

Re: Cat Tourniquet and Celox
The Youtube video I've been looking for has been taken down for some reason????
It showed how to divide up Celox 15g granular packs into syringes of 5gm loads, suitable / ideal for use on deep entry wounds, such as knife or gunshot penetrations, rather than open cut wounds or lacerations, which is pretty much what the paramedics are being trained on in London and home counties at the moment.
It shouldn't be to difficult to imagine or replicate, but best practice obviously necessary in terms of resealing the units back into air tight bags would be paramount.

That's the stuff.
I think it was the price (@£25) per syringe that got people on YouTube looking at how they could load their own more cheaply.
Good stuff for deep puncture wounds if you know what you are doing with it.
