Visited my friendly first aid supplies supplier today to top up my box having tried slitting my wrist Thursday night packing the the wheelie bin squashing it down I caught something sharp

Anyway restocked what I used and was shown this stuff

Closest description I can give is very thin packing foam sort a new Mobile phone comes in within the box crossed with plumbing self amalgamating tape

Cut a strip off wrap it round then squeeze it ...

Job done ideal for fingers and smaller limbs (kids)

Only stick's to itself so no hairs ripped out

It's like vet wrap but not.. it apparently becomes waterproof it's probably sterile in the box but a 5m roll will last a while at home ,

Showed it to my dad by way of a practical demo .. He is on blood thinners so told me to get him a box too

It's a definite stay at home job it's got waxed paper separating the layers of "tape" to prevent it sticking itself to itself

I've got loads of the vet wrap stuff, keep a roll of it 'ready use' tied to my FAK. Handy stuff.

My wife is allergic to most plasters so I think it may be worth a try because the problem is most likely adhesive, wont solve everything I know but could be useful.
