They laugh at us stockpiling bogroll but...

... the reality is coming true for some - bogroll considered better than wine! :)

‘It’s a better gift than wine now:’ Coronavirus makes toilet paper a hot new currency

Do you remember the term "gurning" when you pull a face, well when picking up my daughter from school many years ago, there was a friend of her's grandmother hoping from one leg to the other with a face on I will never forget, I asked what was wrong to which she replied " I wish they would hurry up and let them out, I've ran out of toilet paper and need to get to the shop..... quick"

I do like to say you cannot have too many guns, guitars, and sharp pointy things, but really I should add toilet paper, if TSHTF the SHTPan will be the last thing we run out of ;)
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.

I do believe in stocking up basics anyway, but more so now.

It’s funny how things like that are overlooked.

Hygiene, etc., is truly important....

I know there are viable options I saw a guy ( I believe he's dead now) Woodsman who was an outdoor survival specialist in one of his videos he talked about an Ass rag and a face rag Clearly marked
kept in his rucksack and regularly washed, well I did cringe, but when you thin about it we live in houses not warehouses and eventually will run out of TP..... quite possibly before we run out of alcohol gel with the amount my wife bought a few years back

  I have sat here for several minutes trying to imagine the motive or cunning plan behind the heist, I hope they follow up the story.

Oh my word! Armed robbers? Thats some serious sh ... no, there'll be an automatic censor there, I can't write that

It *has* made me get my arris in gear to find a linkie to an article I saw in the Guardian (yet again, sorry) https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyl ... uck-factor
They're calling them toilet towels, or blotters, which is interesting - an Australian initiative, for wee only, not poo. I think its a really interesting idea. Easy for me, living solo, I can certainly see problems for families if they tried this! I have some other projects on the go, but I'll try this next month and report back.

We bulk bought a load of loo roll without really taking into account how much space a few thousand rolls take up... had to get creative and found the best way to pack them was to remove the cardboard tubes flatten them down pack and vacuum seal em... took forever but we never run out 😄
