Afternoon all, thought I'd just introduce myself.
I'm 23 and live in Herefordshire, right on the Welsh border (I'm actually just a mile down from Offa's Dyke, though the English side). I've been camping and hunting (Air rifle, only recently picked up shotgun myself) since I was 6/7, and have started "properly" getting in to bushcraft just recently. I've been fascinated with it for quite some time, though only recently have myself and friends grasped the opportunity (Free reign and use of a small portion of unused woodland on a local estate a friend works on) and done something with it.
I've been interested in prepping for quite some years and would actually like to start doing something towards it. I'm slowly building up my collection of bushcrafting and "survival" tools, equipment, clothing - Most of it being vital equipment for prepping too. Two birds one stone and all that - and also plan on starting to get together food stocks now also.
Look forward to some very interesting conversations with all you fine folk!
Also, are there many shooters (Shotgun and / or rifle) here?
Hello from the Welsh border!

Hello and welcome to the Forum.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Welcome to the forum! What a lovely area to live in. There are people who shoot for the pot on here, and I'm sure some will be along.

Oh they will.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Aye it is beautiful, I'm very lucky. Yes I only shoot for the pot - Rabbit, pigeon, squirrel, pheasant when applicable - I've been on pheasant shoots a couple of times when I was younger with an uncle, but doesn't interest me these days.
Thanks all for the warm welcome, look forward to my time here
