Cheers :) just thinking about a multi level things plus beer as if Mrs a can't get a morning brew I might as well skip the idea and dig myself a grave  might need a bigger pipe but I like the bottle sling idea

It's an extension / overspill and camping trips it cools to 20 degrees below ambient temperature which unless it's bonkers warm in the cool of the pantry / glory hole / bomb site of dumped crap ;) it will cope well

Also cleared a shelf of crap in there to the bin

So I've got some more overspill tin / shelf stable food space to fill at the weekend

I just got a similar one. Works really well, although not tested in the wild. Only disappointment is that although it is 12v it draws too much power to run from a lithium battery pack with a usb-to-12v adapter.

Not a biggie but I don’t have a deep cycle battery to hand and wouldn’t fancy lugging one to the beach / picnic even if I did.

Anybody had any luck getting such a think to work off a standard battery pack?

Well I finally did something about the heating. We're really struggling with the coal - sooner or later one of us is going to break an ankle or worse on the back step, hauling coal in and ash out twice a day. So I bought this  Calor gas heater.
Not my pic, got from google.

Nice :)

Now look up your local gas suppliers locally we have Flo gas and energas which are about 2/3rd the price of calor energas don't even charge a bottle deposit.. you might need to change the regulator tho calor is 21mm and other butane brands are 20mm clip fittings (from memory size wise I know one is a mm bigger than the other regulators are £8 ISH plus £1 for a new jubilee clip
Get yourself a decent carbon monoxide alarm just in case and watch the condensation :)

Yep. we use Propane for the cooker and switched to Flogas and found it cheaper, plus the guy actually turns up when he says he will  I asked the seller to fit it with the Flogas regulator. And the HA put in an alarm because we use coal . So all sorted.
Erm - apart from the fact that we haven't got any gas yet. Cos we run out of money.

We love Farm Foods. Will check that out.

They've also got large sacks 3 & 5kg of pasta and rice along with 12pack slabs of tomatoes along marvel milk powder (not the best date but it will get used )

Bulk 5l bleach and Washing up liquid containers at the right sort of money
