Due to having my broadband, tv, and phone provided by what can only be described as by far the worst Broadband provider in the world (think of a 6 letter word starting with "V" with a publicity seeking owner who also runs an airline and you wont be far off) I have only just got back online since it all went off last night
Their customer service can be questionable...however, I've been with them for 8 years now (from when they were NTL), and never had any problems at all

We didn't have any problems when we were in an ex NTL area, as soon as we moved to an ex telewest area we have had nothing but problems. It was only last week I moaned at them so much they gave me £40 credit on my account . I try to be polite to their customer services lot as it must be a hard job, but sometimes.....
We use Virgin, ex NTL, ex Mercury, ex BTgold the good old days 1200/75. We have fibre optic to the house and get 9.5-10 Mb reliably and 1 or 2 hour or so outages a year. Very happy with the service.
I know this thread has gone way off topic but I thought I may as well join in , if you go to http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange_search and enter your postcode it will tell you where your local exchange is and what services are connected to it.
On the original topic, I listened to the interview that royston did on tnsradio (presume it was a fore runner to the actual show) and whilst I did pick fault with some of the things he had to say it was, on the whole, a pretty good interview.
I'll be putting last weeks show up today on my youtube channel, am all fingers and thumbs with the editing program at the moment
