New here and new to prepping

Hello all, my name is Kezz, I have recently moved into a rented property and have decided to use the prepping lifestyle to start saving myself money and ease myself into it. I apologize in advance for any stupid questions I may ask, as I like hearing information from the horse's mouth so to speak. I have recently purchased solar panels to produce my own electricity and will be using my prepping to help others as well as myself. I look forward to getting to know you all and am excited to begin this journey.

Hello Kezz, welcome to the forum - we have some real experts on solar technology here; not me, sadly, I'll be making another attempt at it in August, I hope. As for the money - prepping has some costs, but you're spot on, it can also save money - it can save your health, and even your life in extreme situations. No stupid questions around all that, you'll do fine!
