Last year I bought a MagLite ML300L https://www.torchdirect.co.uk/maglite-l ... model.html and I have to admit, its an excellent bit of kit, super bright, good beam distance, however its not rechargeable.
So, I will want an all rounder for the Landy, 12v rechargeable, mountable, possibly torch and worklight.
Any recommendations?
Torches.

Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Re: Torches.
I have the Olight r50 pro seeker torch.
Not so much a working torch, but it is one hell of a bright torch. On full beam it can light up a full size football pitch.
I take the dog up to the field next to me at night and it lights up the whole area. Superb bit of kit.
Word of caution though on full beam it gets really hot. Does cut off to protect battery though.

I'm currently carrying a Nebo Inspector.... I liked it so much I bought a second as a spare.
Common batteries, fairly skinny and IP67... Ideal

Also a fan of the Big Larry and Lil' Larry, they're more of a flood light but handy if you're trying to find a black dog under a bush at night

ForgeCorvus,
I have never heard of Nebo torches.
Looked at the links, then went on their website.
Torches look well made and are reasonably priced. I particularly like the look of their 6000 lumens torch.
I don't think I could justify buying another torch though I already own 9.

Im liking this, I had looked into the Big Larry 2 but this one ticks a lot of boxes, and the run time is amazing.

Couldn't grumble about the after sales from Nebo had a big Larry 2 and a big Larry both replaced under warranty. But 2 out of 2 failure in under 12 months doesn't fill me with confidence about reliability

I'm surprised, I've not heard of anyone else having problems...... Mind you, I'm not on that many other forums.Yorkshire Andy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 6:06 pm Couldn't grumble about the after sales from Nebo had a big Larry 2 and a big Larry both replaced under warranty. I know our local EMTs and Parameds like them, I work next to an ambulance station and a lot of them seem to have a Larry of some type clipped about their person
