I’ve been interested in prepping and survivalist since I was about 16, but it was always one of those things I never got around to doing. I did buy a load of tinned food at one point, and stick it in the shed, but that was as far as in went.
Then about 6 months ago my situation changed and I came back to it. Since then I’ve got stuck into the garden with my neighbour’s rotavator, planted a decent bit of veg and started stocking up on food and learning new stills, the usual stuff really.

Hello triple_sod, welcome to UK Preppers. Does your user name refer to your rotavating activities or does it mean you're three times as sod-like as anyone else?
Re: Hello From Barnsley
Hey man,
great to hear about your food prep.
I brought rations on discount and was due to have a large shipment of rations sent to me... but it fell through for tragic reasons. So now myself and a friend are going to bookers this week (long time due) to fill up our broom cupboards.
Gardening's never been my thing... but thanks for the reminder that I have to simply find a way to enjoy it.
