Back went so put a big dollop of tiger balm in a hot bath- that works though there is a bit of degreasing to be done afterwards.

We have quite a collection of home remedies that save us needing the doc for minor issues.

Vicks - for athletes foot and smelly feet - works better than the commercial products.
Home made salve - grapeseed oil/beeswax/lavender/yarrow/calendula - is now preferred over Germaline for minor rashes and injuries.
Tea tree in a bowl of steaming water with or without Olbas Oil for colds and sinus infections. Add eating a couple of cloves of garlic (raw) for the sinus infections too.
Minor infections seem to vanish when dressed with live yoghurt or kefir. (Outcompeted I think)
Ginger in any form at all for nausea
Turmeric as an anti-inflammatory.
Elderberry syrup 3 times a day for any viral complaint - along with huge doses of Vit C and a hit of vit D.
Good high dose multivitamin/multimineral (A-Z) as first aid for post natal depression and any mental health problem (As well as seeking specialist suppport but can make quite a difference by itself)
Identify food intolerances - to help manage arthritis, heart palpitations, acne, chronic fatigue.

Drop an eggcup full of milk into the bath with anything oily; it works pretty well as an emulsifier :)
