Much prefer the Olight S2 which lives in my pocket all the time. https://www.olightstore.uk/s2r-baton-ii.html
Read on some site reviewing torches that one was their number one choice.
I also have that one on my wish list.

Just got a Nebo Rebel £20 for a rechargeable head torch you can't complain

Really bright on boost but more than bright enough on normal power / low..

It's the first led torch I've come across where on boost shon onto the back of my hand at about 3" it feels like it's burning the skin to the point I had to move it away !

For something about half the size of a cunkey marker pen it lights my full allotment which is impressive

3 new recent additions for me - all Olight: Warrior X Pro, Baton 3 Premium edition and also the I5T EOS. They are tough, powerful and all I'll need.

These are great for £12

Almost disposable / lendable at that price ...

White spot plus red pilot light. Plus inbuilt motion sensor so can use them as a night light / security light

Edit

Even better at under a tenner

I've a couple of 4d adaptors too to suit the 6v lamps etc

Oh and shtf the highways agency won't miss a few flashing beacon batteries

Likewise they will probably be one of the last batteries to sell out

Be careful with torches using Krypton bulbs, they use a lot more power than an LED and you'll go through batteries quicker than you would if sticking with LED.

I'll be honest I only buy penlights from Wish 2xAA & 1xAA, I have them dotted throughout different bags and coats and even have one on my key chain.

Less than £2 with postage and the 2yrs+ I've been getting them I've only had one fail on me. They give off plenty of light take common batteries and aren't too heavy on power useage.

They only have on and off functions but really that's all I need, plenty of people turn their noses up at Wish and with good reason but I swear by these torches.

I am with you on that. My EDC is an LED Lenser job, about 16 quid. Reliable. However, around the yard I use cheap LED torches.

About 3 or 4 quid from B and M.A hook to hang it,or a magnet to stick it. Two modes; work light ( bright!) and a torch on the end for more direct light.
