Hi All,
This is a very simple method,I'm sure most of you preppers wouldn't be caught out in the wild without fire creating tools anyway...
... however I guess you can never Know enough ways to generate that beautiful life saving glowy stuff -so thought I'd share a clip I stumbled across on YT.

Only problem I can see with this method for us in the UK is....
You also need sunshine. Ah well...

we used a similar method when i was a schoolkid(long time ago ) only substituting my spectacles for the aluminium can-same result-set fire to the grass in the sportsfield
