Froze more rhubarb today. When I can be bothered,I’ll make our favourite chutney. Split a LOAD of firewood. Sorted my ‘Fishing Shed’. Ordered more fishing hooks. They are getting dearer. Pretty soon I’ll have enough for the rest of my life ;) .Mono line too. I have another solar panel coming, along with a couple of books about alternative medicine for my wife. Mind you, given that my daughter cannot get a diabetes test from our GP for a MONTH, and I cannot get a prostate cancer test either - dear god! Then we’ll be going back to folk medicine.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Found the missing chicken she's been AWOL for about a week was guessing that a fox had been in the coup.....

Nope she's taken up residence in the old rabbit hutch and been keeping herself to herself ...

That's so nice, Andy! What do you think is causing her self-isolation, is she being set upon by the others?

Could you use your broody hen as a free and labour saving incubator?
