Canning jars/Kilner Jars

Post by itsybitsy »

My local Sainsbury's are selling canning jars, Kilner jars and jam jars! Not only that but they are also selling jam making kits AND canning kits!

When I popped ino today there was 1/3 off all the prices, so the canning jars were £1.33 which I thought was pretty cheap. And a bit worrying if Sainsbo's has jumped on the band wagon! PREP FASTER FOLKS!!!

I had a quick look on online and some things are available, some out of stock. You could always order online and have delivered.

These will be used for pickles and chutneys, they are a little to big for jams for us. We use jars from Ascott Link SWMBO likes the Hexagonal ones.
