Sorry don't know but I watch a lot of Youtube where they are showing Butchers at people's homestead, butchering and preserving meat.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Woah, what? I saw a mention by you of not feeling well earlier, but I thought it was another bout of covid you were downplaying (and I didn't say anything because I've got it too, and wanted to bleat all over, being a drama queen etc). But, a heart attack? Very, very sorry to hear that, jansman.

Yes to less stress, more hydration, more sleep, whatever else the doctors and the BHF recommend.

Teaching butchery/fish gutting skills is a brilliant idea, when you're more recovered than you are now. Youtube and Faceache would be all over you. Basic video on each, then a weekly thing that's basically a walk in the countryside with you nattering on about fishing prospects on one particular day. That's the advertising, and people pay for your content (gutting a fish, rabbit, whatever). You know an awful lot, putting that into a paid format isn't overnight riches, but it could be long term.

Smallholding Association? Rifle Association.gun shops & ranges? Angling groups? Foraging groups? Small courses at agricultural colleges? I know of two, one in Sussex and one in Yorkshire somewhere.

Anyway, never mind that for now. Feel better soon.

Own preps: absolutely nothing, I haven't even washed everything since getting home from holiday last week, haven't unpacked, nothing. Wasn't enjoying covid in a heatwave. Have had to cancel my participation in a cousin's 50th birthday party.

The only thing I've managed to do is unplug my appliances during the thunder and lightning. Good, huh!

Get well soon Jansman, here's to a speedy recovery. A You Tube channel on a beginners guide to butchery would be great. I can just about dress a chicken but would not have a clue dealing with anything larger. Glad to hear that you are going to be slowing down a little at work but agree that sometimes work is about the social aspect which is important to most people as well as the income.
