If the glass is intact and it doesn’t leak then it should be ok. You can use a variety of fuels to burn the wick,don’t use petrol!!! Will be good when the lights go out.

WP what does sheneed for it? A wick and what else? I think she found it in the garage, she's never used it.

Should just need a wick and some fuel. You can get lamp oil or I use a citronella oil for mine.

Use clean paraffin for best results, you can buy Lamp Oil but is just expensive paraffin so don't bother. Wicks easily available on ebay.

If it's a genuine 276 new wicks are easy to get
Chances are someone's wound it down and it's dropped off into the fuel tank....
