OCADO are doing their '£20 off your first shop (minimum spend £40) so I've just taken advantage of that and placed an order, delivery Thursday. Mainly tins - soup (hasn't THAT gone up in price!), butter beans (for cassoulet), some frozen stuff and some M&S lemon mayonnaise which sounds delicious s and which I couldn't resist. The fact they are now selling M&S stuff is now a bonus!

I am going back to work for a few hours today. The gaffer told me there’s a load of wood in the yard, so that’ll be in the motor to bring home. That’s more important than the job. Also got to pick up layers pellets too. Got to look after our egg producers.

Spoken like a bootneck ;)

Take care though mate, any cardiac event is serious.

My preps this week include having my power company try to raise my DD by a quarter (and their system won't let me put it back down) so I'm now on the variable DD where I will only pay for what I've used.
I'm keeping my money in my bank account now....... Not theirs

Thanks Forge. I am a country boy, and idleness drives me mad.

You are right to look after your money!

I'm charging everything in sight as we're due thunderstorms in the early hours tomorrow (woohoo! Rain!) and I'll unplug everything overnight in case of power outages. The bucket is under the leaky gutter again as it looks like I need to get someone in to clear them, and I can't afford it yet

Take care of yourself Jansman. I understand your dislike of idleness, but your health comes first!

Currently fire watching as we had a bloody Chinese lantern come down on the wasteland behind the house it's not smoking so that's a good sign and it rained last night .....
