Quite. A lot of comments said exactly that.

Of course the ultra-rich have prepped. They've been doing it for years. They know their massive carbon footprints, and the system (economic, political/ideological, (dis)information, technological) they rule over, are the main causes of the climate crisis. But they won't do anything to stop it. As people have said, they want to know things like how to stop their security turning on them. We cannot trust them, their system, their politicians, their media.

The thing about being super rich is you have shed loads of cash and a few million on a bunker with all the bells a whistles you not going to miss it .

So yes I think they do it but practice a high level.of security to protect them and their loved ones .

If like Branson you can afford your own island , why not stick a bunker under it just in case.

They won’t have shedloads of cash, though, once the servers go down, unless they’ve converted it to gold and buried it on their island. And you can’t eat gold. I like to think they’ll be nobodies

I was reading an article once, by someone who specialises in predicting the future, I mean by being well researched, not psychic! He was invited to answer questions from a bunch of ultra-rich people. He thought they'd want to know about the climate crisis, and what could be done to stop it. But they'd just accepted it was happening, and wanted to know how to stop their security turning on them when civilisation collapses.
I think it was in an article in a mainstream US paper, about the history of climate change awareness, and how the FF industry admitted it at first, and then went into denial when they realised governments weren't taking action.

Them spending £5m on a bunker is OK by me, its their money.

I'll bet there are more than one member here who's been called a bit of a 'looney' for their belief/practising in prepping, I have thats for sure.
