We wouldn't win any awards for the healthiest fittest Prepper group in the country this week, would we?
On the positive side, it's shown you the gaps in the preps that you need to fill.

Glad he's on the mend and it wasn't too bad a fall.

Lil, I'm glad you've got a nurse appointment, that sounds horrible. And it's always good to find gaps in the preps when it's possible to fill them.

That's bonkers. I wonder if you got a different model to me?
Goodmans 10,000mah. In fact,I’ll get two phones out of it on top.Mind you, mine never ,ever go below 40%. You never know when you’ll need them in an emergency. I’d take yours back.
Okay, so much weirdness with this bloody Goodman's power pack (which is the same one as what you have, upon close inspection today). I tried it again. It dropped by 1% each time the phone went up 1%. THEN, when it got to having only 1 percent power left in it, continued to charge for over an hour. It's now flashing double zero and is STILL charging. This is most discombobulating and I literally have no clue what's going on with it.

Maybe faulty reading, but in general the advice seems to be that you shouldn't fully discharge lithium polymer batteries. They like to be around 40-70% charged, ideally.

Itsy that sounds like the battery in my powered wheelchair, that behaves exactly the same. The husband is always saying it's faulty but it just seems to be what it does, it hasnt ever died.

Isn't it most odd! I'll just keep using it until it goes to powerpack heaven I guess, and probably buy some additional ones!

Not a prep for me, but I’m buying my uncle a hot water bottle, fleece blanket and Nordic socks.

He lives on a farm in Suffolk and while I am sure he will get through the winter okay, I will feel better knowing he has at least these items kicking around.

Squaring the lad up for return to uni..

He isnt overly impressed and mum's response was well he pays for accomodation so they've a duty of care .... Oh hum...

I had ordered a backpack folding gas stove it works but I'm not overly impressed with the quality the gas hose is stiff and tends to move the stove if you move the bottle and the screw connection likes to pour gas out till it's nipped up....

Does that Camping Gaz one work with other makes of cartridge?

I had one like your first one, but with a rubber tube, for maybe 20 years, did tons of backpacking and camping with it. But now I have a Soto and a generic one that are both canister-top. You need a stabaliser with those.
