Practical Self-sufficiency by Dick & James Strawbridge

Yes, you know the ones - had a TV series a few years back showing how they started out on their journey of self-sufficiency.

It is amazing. I would reccomend this book to anyone who wants to try and do a little bit towards self-sufficiency. Doesn't matter if you are in a town, suburb or countryside, he covers it from all angles. Good pictures, good instructions and information.
This one probably won't make it to the prepping shelves as I think I'll be dipping in and out of this one most days.

Looks great, had a quick browse around on the preview and will defiantly be ordering a copy in the near future.

I watched the TV series and came to the conclusion that any fool can be self sufficient if they throw enough money at it, which is What Dick Strawbridge tended to do, he even had his own tame live in Engineer to solve any technical problems, something the rest of us wont have.
