Welcome, Ayesha - friendly bunch here, "contributing and learning" is spot on, absolutely. Any issues for you in particular that you need to focus on?

Don't be shy with any questions or contributions of your own. Have a good mooch around.

Thank you Arzosah.
Yes, mainly into diet, workout and nutrition.
I work remotely, and this was like really recent due to some reason I won't get into.
So here to contribute where I can and hopefully learn something.

So important on so many levels, you're right! Getting to "normal" levels of health/strength/endurance, making sure you can cope with the extra demands of the circumstances most of us find ourselves in at the moment without falling into unhealthy eating, and securing supplies for power cuts that are as healthy as possible - I'm dehydrating frozen vegetables I bought yesterday, as we speakAyeshaBSmith wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 2:47 amThank you Arzosah.

Working out - stamina and some strength are important, and they'll grow if you're doing prepping work. Tricky to do it safely and cheaply (though gyms and classes can be good places to meet friends - actual friends - if you're new to the area). Otherwise - during winter, it's exercise DVDs for me, when I have enough energy to do them.
