Finally, I've found some good tinned tuna - this stuff is the bomb. It ain't cheap but buying the cheap stuff was a false economy for me because I was buying and not eating - this tastes 1000 percent better than any other tinned tuna I've ever tasted.

In Olive Oil...... That's a refreshing change. Not an outrageous price.

I've got used to having it in water since being on a diet. I bought some in oil and didn't really like it. I get the Fridge Pots when they are reduced to £3.50 for 3 x 110g. These ones on Amazon only seem to do tuna in oil.

I just checkedand I can get it at Tesco online but it's a quid more expensive than on Amazon.

Jenny's Amazon food delivery thread is a bit of an eye opener. Even after reading it and going to Amazon I didn't realise immediately (see my post). Basically you can order a litre of milk or something and get it delivered cheaper than going to the shops! I've used Amazon for non-perishable food before (early in the pandemic it was a lifeline as the Supermarkets weren't up to it), but this is new. No minimum order for fresh stuff.

It’s very interesting that Amazon do that. Enjoy it whilst it continues. When they’ve busted everyone else,they’ll charge what they like!!!

Personally I doubt I'll use it as I live near the shops anyway, and it's a bit wasteful re all the cardboard, although obviously it goes in recycling.

That’s the point tough ( though - misspelled ),isn’t it? When your local shops are gone,they - Amazon - will know. Then that miraculous company will really charge.

Money is an issue, but I feel that *I* should have at least 3 choices and chances,in the true survivalist way. I can remember reading waaaay back that it was thought that,by the new century,The World would be ruled by 4 World Corporations. About right innit?
