Thank you for the info i brought in a huge amount as they are foil sealed and more like a mre , but i just throw it in a pan i add a few bits and bobs you can mix and match then i whisk up a few eggs throw over and i have put sliced toms in a sprinkle of cheese over more like a fritta but as long as the wife enjoys it i know i am on to a winner lol

OK as a follow up to this it appear sainsburys and waitrose are no longer able to stock it and i have found the germany company that make it but they say it is mainly being sold now to MRE companys and camping trekking stores , now we kno why they are charging 3 times the price that sainsburys and waitrose were charging , i have reached out to the company in the hope i can get may be a large order from them you never know if i can source it and it is a good price i will let others here know if anyone wants some of them happy to share what we can get , these are sealed in foil if you have not tried them they are lovely fried off throw in some beaten eggs and omg you good for a real belly buster lol .

Ok watch this space as they say

I remember Home Bargains sold a similar product, potato slices with ham pieces in a pouch. Haven’t seen it for ages.

You mean,,, Something like kartofellen: "Fried Potatoes Ham and Onions." Brilliant MRE type scoff in foil. I still have some will post the details.

Yes jen that is what it is but sainsburys and waitrose sold it but no long waitrose said because no call for it and saunsburys no answer to why , i have i think 100 in the storage buckets but wanted to get another 100 in stock , we buy them leave one in the box and the rest we pack in to the square buckets we have that are air tight they are in mylar foil so pack them in then some oxy packs and put the one in the box on the top then seal the bucket .

I make it with tinned taters and tinned ham and onion but these packs are great just open throw in a pan i then mix up 2 or 4 eggs or powder depending then pour that over once taters are near cooked then omg fresh bread yum
