You know,the USB mini packs to charge phones and the like? I brought two Goodmans 10000 MAH jobs with me on my little holiday Just in case of an emergency. Well a room I was put in I couldn’t reach the plug because of being ‘tethered’ to the bed and my ‘emergency’ pack was with me. Used them to power my kit. And that kit essential for staying sane by communicating family and you lot! They charged three phones and two iPads,so for the price,worth a look. When I get back,that small emergency bag will be containing 100% x2 again,ready to go for the next trip.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.
Just don't use the device being charged. I did that, and the powerbank ran out of charge a lot quicker, and I think it's bad for them. I ended up chucking that one.
Some people say you shouldn't use phones while they are being charged, even at the mains.
I have two of the big ones. One I used in Japan and I take that if I have to travel far. The other has a solar panel built in, and it's not too heavy considering it's size. That one I got for my bugout bag. But because of the fire risk, I keep both in a US army metal ammo box on the tiled kitchen floor, away from the units. Lipo bags are not much cop, but I keep them in one of them inside the box. I took the rubber seal out of the box to avoid pressure builup in the event of a fire.

Remember the rule of the 7 P's, proper planning and prepperation prevents piss poor performance...

I did similar. Initially my daughter bought me an Anker. Still good. I got a couple of solar panels too. Electricity is dear,so idea is charge numerous devices with banks then solar them. Winter,use a USB on the telly anyway. Not only an emergency,but saves a drop of electricity too.

I might have just accidentally bought one of the newer ecoflows mainly for camping off grid but a bit of extra resilient power is never a bad thing I've got my shed set up but it's not portable and Mrs a doest feel the most comfortable using it.. even though it's as simple as I can make it

Got the basic river 2 £250 with a few nectar points and a 5% off on eBay from a reputable seller I found them on the web not a million miles from home if I have issues
