Topped up some stocks yesterday, including cold and flu medications and some household stuff.
I'm starting on my house sort out with my bedroom. I had thought I could do each room in a few hours, but I didn't take into account my crap back and sore hips, so I have to take it slower than planned. But I'm getting bits done and I just have to keep chipping away and crossing tasks off the list when I can. The important thing is to not just give up (something I am often guilty of doing)

I’ve started exercising again. It’s maybe not prepping as in getting equipment but I suppose looking after my health is becoming more important for me. I posted about my knee playing up the other week, I’m dealing with that with pain relief, heat and knee braces and I thought that would be the end of the matter.
The nurse called me in…. Everything is fine, blood sugar level, cholesterol and liver function are all good.
BP is 173/110. Oops as they say so I am taking steps to try and get my weight down. It explains the moans and groans coming down from Edinburgh if you can hear me as I’m still at the ‘ooyah, it’s killing me’ stage….

In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Yep, there's nothing, literally nothing, more important, it's the basis of everything.jansman wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 11:55 pmYour health is most important.Without it life is not good. I had my blood pressure checked when I recently had my pneumonia vaccination, 111/82, which I've been told is smack bang in "normal" territory, but I know that I'm also unfit, though not bad age-wise. Must do better, though.

Yep but then I mentioned my blood pressure, and I didn't want to seem like I was boasting, so ... there we go/there I went
Health is the most important thing!
