Moved the entire log store to other side of garden as some damp was getting in ..we've had 3 days of snow black ice and freezing conditions and now thick icy fog ..a friend's wife calls it wet Yorkshire here
Ordered my repeat prescription like Kwififer i have been through all those apps and am on 2 lots of BP tablets for life
Had a problem as over phone they took weight age etc told me to go in immediately middle aged woman ..app a stone and half overweight for age according to BMI
I went straight from weight lifting and a swim im size 10 and fairly fit ..so I had to laugh when doc came into waiting room and left again as I was the only one in :) ..its probably hereditary but its sorted and I order a week in advance so I have a few in front ..and I think the BMI chart needs addressing !
Been practising pushing Mr GG in a wheelchair theyre harder than they look ...
Oh wow get out of the way
He was yelling kerb.. left right ..I need L plates and he needs a lie down !!!!
All preparation although I think he may take some persuading to get back in
Tried a mobility scooter for him and itll sort out any running I need to do ....thinks he's in a batmobile :)

 I found a wheelchair difficult for a start some years back, when Jan was in one! Takes some practice, for sure. She is also talking about a mobility scooter for me too , like your hubby. :D
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Hi mate i tried a wheelchair for some time the wife use to push me but well lets say it is not easy and trying to steer one myself i was always bumping into things ,
We both now have folding mobility scooters we went for the solax/mobi ones the wifes folds with the button my i just pull the lever and up it goes they are not light to lift but i can manage to lift in to the boot but you can get a crane fitted in the boot to lift if you need it , our 2 fit in the boot of a meriva and leave room for shopping to i just fix them in place with a bungy round thme on to the headrest .

They are not cheap new but we got 2 great deals secondhand on the bay i just cleaned them over little oil on each joint underneith , i keep mine mainly for the times when i can not walk at all it just means i can still get out and about if we go to places , the large air museum we went to it was huge so a pleasure to ride round .

On to preps for today i have been sowing seeds and getting the polytunnel ready for the plants , i use to use a heater in there but now don't worry i just make sure to place small plants and seedlings on racks off the floor and also either fleece over them or on the solid frame i put polystrene boards over to keep the frost off .

Spring will be here soon yaya

I've got an electric wheelchair but not got the nerve to use it outside. I can do a brilliant 3 point turn in the hall though

I just feel that everybody would be looking at me, you know? - wondering what was wrong with my legs etc. The main prob is arthritis and ME. I get so tired I just need to sit down right now and because I can't really sit on the pavement, I stay at home and send the husband to the shop instead
