I get so tired I just need to sit down right now and because I can't really sit on the pavement, I stay at home and send the husband to the shop instead

Lil: I think the electric wheelchair would get less stares than sitting on the pavement  . So far Mr GB been OK with just a shooting stick to perch on but I can see that if things go downhill, he would end up in the wheelchair/scooter world. Better that, than stuck at home being bored.

Wasted hours trying to get Apple Numbers to update/sync with iCloud. I use it a lot for prep stuff. Eventually I cracked it, in two stages. Quitting my VPN and deselecting Numbers in Icloud Drive in Settings. First time it uploaded to iCloud and made an archive folder. Second time it downloaded back from iCloud. At one point I also signed out of iCloud, and that's when the Archive folder was created.

In the past a reboot worked, but that wasn't working. Anyway, now I have an archive folder as a backup, which is cool.

As much my energy allows right now , I am cutting firewood like a machine.Got stacks. I’m getting close to completing that now. I don’t want to be doing it later this year, and certainly not come Autumn, as I may not be up to it to be frank. My garden is organised and pretty maintenance free too now. Beds with perennial onions, artichokes, cabbages,Good King Henry spinach. fruit trees and bushes are there,so all that will grow. Done. The only sowing will be squashes ,a few tomatoes ( Mrs J has asked  ) and one bed with runner beans. It’s all surrounded by weed suppression. All pots and containers have been dumped. Too much work is that!

Workshop cleared of rubbish now. The lads can help themselves easily to use kit, benches and fixings. I have lots of fixings.

The main job this week now is dismantling the hen house. It’s a good bit of kit,but it won’t get moved out,as the access is not wide enough for donation to a hen owner. It’ll just be smashed and shoved in a woodpile!
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Robert Frost.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.

Me.

Shed coming on wednesday. Nearly killed meself helping husband to lift heavy ceramic planters out of the way. Hellish crippling pain in back so I won't be trying that one again. Need to get the sons down here a bit more to help us I think.

Ordered a greenhouse today despite there still being snow on the ground. It will be delivered in a few weeks to give us time to prepare the base. I bet the base isn't ready in time as we take a loooooong time to do anything. Nothing changes there, it took us ages to do things when we were both in the prime of health.

If the guys coming to erect it are ok a big steaming mug of tea and some good biscuits they will move a few planters especially if you turn on the old lady charm
