Black pepper advice

Just bought 10 large ground black pepper pots from aldi with a sell by date mid 2025 .

How will this store long term any ideas 💡

I would guess,dry,dark and low ish temperature would be the way forward with your pepper.

If something has a best before that's X years ahead, then I'm inclined to double it at least. So, mid2027.

It's a rather odd thing to buy 10 of. But I guess they'd make a decent secret santa or stocking filler?

I got a voucher from the citizens advice bureau for £150,I follow the general rule of store what you eat .
So loads of sardines in tomato sauce (ones in oil 5p more) one tray of baked beans
Same with tuna chunks 4 trays of red kidney beans a pair of walking trainers £16.. look very good....and a litre of scotch ....£145 .

I'm using Tesco's ground black pepper with a best before date of 2006.... :shock:

Still fine as far as I can tell. :mrgreen:
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Definitely! And I'd be using a date way further out than 2027 - I might try to up my useage, as it's so healthy, but I'd just use it up, to be honest.
