My son has just had a raging ear ache that travelled down his face into his jaw. He hates medicens and has trouble taking any sort of tablets so I looked in my enyclopedia of herbs and it said Basil helps with fever, headaches, et al. I gave him a big bunch of Basil to eat and by the morning his symptoms had virtually dissapeared.

Alternative remedies are so overlooked in todays society.
Modern medicine is not that old and before that everyone used Homeopathic remedies. When I was in Kenya we did a local village tour. Two young boys latched onto me and wifey and as we walked round their village and the surrounding area they told us about each bush, plant, tree, herb, etc. and told us what each one was used for.
We have forgotten all that and rely too heavily on prescription drugs. Did you know they are the biggest killer in America after Heart Disease and Cancer. And that is not including mis-prescribed drugs.
When they say "Side Effects" they actually mean effects. I bought my wife some Tylanol on holiday for a bad headache she had. I read the leaflet that came with them and one of the "side effects" listed was "MAY CAUSE HEADACHES"!!!! WTF?
With Codex Alimentarius kicking in, they are going to try and make it even harder for us to use alternative remedies.
There is a doctor in Italy who is curing cancer with Bicarbonate of Soda. He was injecting it into patients right at the source. He has one patient who was given less than 3 months to live. That was 25 years ago and he is still alive. He was struck off for "Administering CURES that were not approved". YES, they admitted it was a cure but because it was not APPROVED, he was struck off and threatend with prison.
Cancer cannot live in an oxygen rich environment. It is also caused by Candida which is a fungus which we all have inside us. Normally our immune system keeps it in check but if our immune system is compramised (by all the crap we are fed) then the candida can take hold and we end up with cancer.
Other than dealing with broken bones and similar stuff, we should try and keep clear of doctors who are just highly paid drug dealers.

Having 2 very close family members who have had or have Cancer, both being succesfully treated by Doctors working for the NHS, I have got to say that the above comment is just BSOther than dealing with broken bones and similar stuff, we should try and keep clear of doctors who are just highly paid drug dealers

Like Luxor I wouldn't mind a link to the info.....proper peer reviewed evidence though. I'm not saying you are wrong but anyone can make claims and have the "usual suspects" websites say how wonderfull it is. I'm being serious, if you have a decent link to peer reviewed evidence I would be very interested in reading it.
