Mine is more energy saving than shtf prepp if I can wash or dry a load a week for example by solar that's a little saving ;)

I've fitted a couple of led striplights in the workshop. I did have a fluorescent above the bench but managed to hit it with a window I was making. Not having a spare tube I asked my daughter's boyfriend to save me one if he came across one in his job as an electrician. He came back with a couple of led lights and I have to say they are so much better. Brighter , whiter and no waiting for it to flicker into life...

It's also proof of concept that'll keep the missus happy in your purchase ;)

Also got a anker 4x usb mains charger ordered ... 4x usb outlets from one plug... why never mind shtf and or rota cuts everything seems to be usb charged these days most usb chargers will only have one output so one socket one item at a time... not good especially if your power supply is time limited or just short of spare empty sockets ..

And I've a few anker power banks so these allegedly allow them to charge faster using their iq charge protocol

I've got 4x USB power banks, 20,000MAh and upward. I think it's best to get the bigger sizes; they also have multiple outlets. They're a very convenient and highly portable power source. I've done basic tests of mine for capacity, and there's a tendency for the capacity to be lower than stated in terms of power delivery to the load. Some sellers on eBay and Amazon quote outrageous capacities; this can be seen from the images-their physical size is far too small for the capacity quoted. So beware!

That's why I've gone for a branded unit from their own eBay shop plenty of cheaper opting but that many dangerous fakes and none compliant imports on the market

Had a anker power bank fail

One email with video of fault...
Proof of purchase screen shot
Address

And one was posted out the next day couldn't fault them

Restocked on Multivitamins and Vitamin D tablets. Both on a 3 for 2 offer at Morrisons.

Signed for a one bed bungalow today ..
House is supposed to complete in the next few weeks
Fingers eyes and toes crossed hoping it does ..if it doesn't then it'll only go back on market but nearly contract stage and had to have a overlap or id have lost the bungalow and its too good to pass up
Massive change one level smaller and quiet ....very quiet
Have to look up small prepping spaces as its a massive downsize
When house completes ill be patting the wood and coal burner thanking it for the 16 yr of warmth
Blocking up all my hidey places
Hiding my preps to move or if people see them they'll think I'm crazy
Ringing people up telling them this is the new address and I still for now have the old address and getting total confusion as everything is online and no boxes to tick saying yeah still got the old one for now
No neighbours attached ..drive for car and a shed !
Boxes all over tip run is daily ...
A new start
A good friend of ours on this site who everyone loved and respected and is no longer on here .told me when he became ill ..GG life is too short and you can't prep for everything.. I hope you sell that house and find someplace you can have some peace ..
Biggest non prep I've ever done
Asked solicitor to push for a date now in next few weeks for completion and in between this house will be empty and the next chapter is here ......
