Well town has a power cut
Went out for a wander we were on ....
Asda out ymca and council tower block off town center off including weatherspoons
Mate asked me to check his business still on...
On my way back home and EVERYTHING went off loads of alarms kicking off and me on foot walking up a terraced street lighting it from one end to the other through the fog with my slightly bigger than edc javlot torch mobile network went down the lot

GeeGee, that's great news, I hope it goes really well. And it's a detached house? I am *so* jealous (not horribly so! just in a good way). I hope all your preps stay nicely hidden - there's something to be said for black binbags within plastic crates, and plain cardboard boxes. And as your good friend said, here's to a peaceful house.
Andy? Good grief, I hope the power isn't out long.
I've done almost nothing today - I caught up on vaccinations yesterday, one arm was tetanus, the other was shingles. Felt like I'd been beaten up but they're both important to me. The next tetanus jab will be in 5 years time, the last one in 15 years time, which I find *really* funny Shingles needs another one next year - I've had the disease itself twice already, so I'm obviously vulnerable to it, so as soon as I was offered the vaxx, I bit their arm off

+1 to that.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Our was off about 10 minutes the main area that went out was off about 4 hours as timing would have it I'd taken the battery pir lights down to charge
Fortunately everyone was in bed but me
Y
Went home restarted the tumble drier
By this point the battery charger was just about done

The wander was for a reason my mate has a unit in town needed to know if he needed to come into town to save his tropical fish from the cold it was as quick to walk vs deicing the car

My NHS check up starts tomorrow, being lectured by obese and clinically obese staff how to manage my body and illnesses in a condescending tone always cheers me up.....
