Thank you
I remember you mentioning a premature grandchild? I think it was you ...?
I delivered grandchild number 1 in that house
Daughter wasn't even 6 months pregnant and only young and six stone wet through hairy time after with scbu and the worry ...
Little one is now nearly 14 taller than me deep voice mouchtashe and grunts instead of speech ..
Stayed with us for nearly 9 years so the house did serve a purpose ..cant prep for everything ..especially teenagers and babies but it was what it was . .
But right now the peace and quiet is heaven and the grandkids can visit ..and go

Got an itch so bit the bullet:

On YorkshireAndy's recommendation Alpicool 20 litre Portable Fridge Freezer

Extension cigarette lighter socket cable for above

USB C to USB 3.1 Adapter for external harddrive to tablet transfer

Amazon essential tshirt pack. As I age ungracefully I wear the same style and colour clothes. If it's good enough for Albert Einstein it's good enough for me.

The wait for the Amazon delivery begins.....

Good to hear, I'm using my freezer less and less and the fridge part for milk butter cheese and steak so running something smaller makes sense for me. Time to experiment I think.

Final payment on one of the two loans I took out to pay for the roof. The other one has another 15 months to go, but the interest will only average out at about £4.50 per month over the remaining period. I could have just about paid for the roof (had to have it done twice, so it was a lot) without the loans, but I would have blown all my savings and had no emergency money left. I kept the interest low by making overpayments near the start.
