Prepping is getting bigger in the UK
Re: Prepping is getting bigger in the UK
Big headline in my news feed today "the one thing all UK households are being urged to buy". It was a crank handled radio. I already have one, a Duronic, I should probably get another under the rule of one is none, perhaps a different brand. I'm sure that the admins have plenty to do (and their own lives to live) but just wondering if anyone is monitoring the amount of new members depending on what is going on in the news? I know that we have the most members online thing but just wondered if anyone knows what was going on at that time?
Growing old disgracefully!

The MSN and G00gle feeds are both pushing assorted scare stories reporting randon stuff to buy based on the Prepare website or which cities are most at risk of being flattened as nuclear targets. So it isnt suprising if people are deciding to learn a bit more about prepping.

But they're rubbish! A decent DAB/VHS battery radio and a dozen or so rechargeables would be my option.
Graceful Degradation! Prepping's objective summed up in two words. Turning Disaster into Mild Inconvenience by the power of fore-thought
