Introducing myself

Post by CountryPrepper »

Hi all,

New to the forum. But not new to prepping.

Rural based in Shropshire near Welsh border.
I’m 51 medically retired due to traumatic brain injury in 2014. Moved rural 3 years ago , been refurbishing cottage & building outbuildings for my supplies .

We have a well , solar will be next on the list .
Off grid heating (oil) wood burners .
Want to get info on what generator is best to power oil boiler on change over switch etc. all the little things .
Will be growing own veg, fruit & chickens arrive in March . Been building brick & concrete runs and coups so all predator proof etc.

Used to be up on my food storage with vacuum packing freezing and canning , need to get back on the bike as to speak.

Look forward to getting to know you all & sharing ideas .

Cheers CP

Hello CountryPrepper, welcome to the forum. I'm so sorry to hear about your brain injury and how bad it was. Your life today sounds great, so I'm hoping you've had no permanent effects.

Now you've moved out to the country, your setup is sounding really excellent. There's a lot of people on here with expertise in your next goals, so you should find it illuminating.
