:Prepping seems to be a largely male activity (though most of the YT vids I watch on the subject are practical, homesteading American women.)
Still, just wondering if there are any other lasses active on these forums? Not that I mind mucking in with the lads, just curious, lol!

Yep! There's Jenny (the name tells you, or I wouldn't), and a couple of the mods are women.

I live in the soft south (so I'm really suffering in the heatwaves) but I'm northern, like a good number of the other women

Me too. I have always been a bit of a tomboy. I think we are about 50/50 among the active posters here so definitely not just a male activity on this forum.

Another northern woman here. I come from a line of strong northern women whose menfolk, even though they were the breadwinners, always knew who buttered the bread.

I'm also the prepper in the family (just the two of us these days), but Mr A knows we won't run out of mustard when he empties the jar.
