In the wake of a contaminated lettuce crisis in the US, the post asks "Should we Stop eating lettuce" just eliminate it's growing, distribution and consumption.

Though the article was tongue in cheek, it did make me reconsider lettuce's place on my allotment and in my shopping basket. Will be using that space for corn, peas, onions and higher value veggies next year. Salad leaves can utilise the easier to grow dandelion
