I need to rotate the stock more often.

What about flour? Is there a storage solution for food in paper bags.

TIA
Either vacuum seal your paper bag, or decant into big mouth plastic bottles. I use 4 pint milk bottles to keep rice, etc in

Flour lasts ages, by the way

Emergency funds.
Physical fitness (within confines of your age/health)
Up to date with all health related items - eye tests, dental, vaccinations and anything else that might not be easy to access if things go upside down.
Documents: Organised, backed up and plans for if you need to meet up with family/friends and comms are down? Mundane stuff like Power of Attorney and wills sorted out?
Skills. Do you have 1st Aid training? Can you cook from scratch? Do you know how to mend & maintain the things you use daily? Could you learn?

Some of this covers personal SHTF, some is good for wider issues. I did hear of someone who evacuated Hurricane Katrina and was offered a better job in a new city. He could not accept as his proof of education certificates were still sitting in a wet house in New Orleans.
Yep. Think outside the box and do what suits you. One of my preps is going for bike rides. Keeps me fit, a prep in itself. I don't have a car, so if I can't get taxi or public transport, it's my emergency transport. Riding it also means I keep it operational and recently tested. It would likely be my bug out vehicle and bug in scavenging vehicle. Even if you have a car, the roads could be gridlocked or petrol unaffordable. I can go off road and even stealth. So I see maintaining, equipping, and riding it as all part of prepping for me personally. Someone else might have a totally different prep that works for them.
