Hi all,
I have been lurking around on here for a few months and finally took the plunge and registered.
Bit about me my names Chris i`m 48 and work in cyber security. I have made a half hearted attempt at prepping but, I could definitely do more, we have converted the cupboard under the stairs to a pantry but, can also be viewed as a prepping cupboard its stocked with tins, water, rice, pasta and other general stuff. we do use the food in our day to day life but we keep it stocked.
I recently bought a Bluetti plus solar panel so I think that covers me if I have a power outage although I would like to to get some smaller power banks as well. I am a ham radio license holder as well which is something else I need to look at as part of my prepping setup (I havnt really done anything radio wise since passing my exam)
I realise I have a start but I do need to beef it up a bit, my main issue is storage I live in a tiny house and the governments recommendation of 8 liters of water is fine but, im not sure I physically have somewhere to store that, plus you would probably want double that.
anyway, looking forward to joining in the conversations.

Hello and welcome to the Forum.
Remember the Government recommends 3 days worth.
Most families shop for a weeks worth at a time already. just think of replacing the fresh with tinned/dried versions.

Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Hello and welcome. If you get creative there are lots of places you could store water. Behind the sofa, under the kickboards in the kitchen are just a couple of examples.
I use my ground floor bathroom as the 'designated water storage area'.

Hi. Water is probably your top priority. I have 4 x 5 litre containers under the bed, plus a 10 litre container on a small bookshelf in the same room. My bugout bag is in my wardrobe. There is a full water bottle in the BOB, two next to it, and two in the fridge. In another bedroom (now unused) I have 2 x 10 litres in the corner, between a wardrobe and a wall. I know you probably don't have spare rooms, it's just an example. I used to have thee more people here, so I know what it's like to be short on space.
