Not worth using it on the cheap stuff like Sains Spicy Bean Burgers, as they are only £1.39 for four. Quorn escalopes, my staple diet, you save more than double that, if you buy 3. They are £2.95 now. I never pay full price.
How shelf stable is quorn? Does it have to be frozen/chilled?

Most of it is frozen. Some is chilled. It's tricky to find dehydrated vegetarian food these days. I did find some vege burger/sausage mix online when Covid hit. It was from a collective, non-profit I think. I avoid soya anyway, now. So I have bought falafel mix, which is chickpea based.

Aldi Ultimate No-beef Burgers. Vegan. Extremely nice. I will be buying these again! Not the cheapest, £2.50 for 2, but worth it. Does not contain soya, they use pea protein.

Those went up to £2.69. That's pushing it. But I tried some others called Mozarella Burgers and they were nice. I didn't notice the price. I just looked up. You won't believe it. 39 p for two!!

Currently showing as unavailable, but at that great price, I'll be looking out for them on Thursday visit.

The expensive ones are juicy. These are drier. But I think I may have overcooked a bit.
