Sunday I am fetching my winter commute bike out ( single speed, full mud guards and triple backup lighting)full service and check.

Then if there's time, cut MORE firewood !

Normally I am a coffee snob and brew a filter coffee when in the woods, but for a quick brew or for storing in your BOB/GOOD kit I like the 3 in 1 sachets.

Just found these in B&Ms, rather than the packs of 10, this is 40 sachets in a plastic container for £2.99 which I'll reuse when empty:

Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

he he he  considering though I sent an A5 wedding anniversary card to USA that weighed 200g price from royal mail was a whopping £5.92 for airmail letter and £3.50 small packages - unfortunately our postal service is not cheapest in the world - I raised this issue with cashier and she admitted it cheaper to ship to us in the UK from outside than the other way around!

I got these before - considering that i didnt just get absorbers stuffed in a bag but got instructions and some great notes on food storage - so couldn't complain and they worked like a charm for my dehydrated stuff.

Been a long week on afternoons and a 7 hour shift yesterday so I'm knackered. Just adding a 4 page hard copy guide on poultry slaughter and butchering to the emergency box and maybe photoshoping a picture of Burt Gummer to frame and inspire me in work.

Make concentrated tomato sauce (for pasta and pizza) from another 3lb of toms.
Stewed 3 big pans of apple. All to go in the freezer.

Got daughter a 3-in-1 winter coat, 2 sizes too big!!! Good offer at Go Outdoors at 24.99. Only problem was she wanted pink, and boy, is it pink
Dug out all the winter hats, gloves etc to make sure everyone has a set. All on pegs ready for the cold weather.
Checked over the hot water bottles to make sure none had perished.

Well this months money went a bit to hell, as is often the case. Younger son has problems, he is self employed, has two wee kids, and owes a lot of money, so I gave it to him to help with the housekeeping. Next month I will def get things sorted
