First off, nicely done with the new forum.

I'm an American living in N. Ireland with my wife (she's from here). Self sufficiency, primitive/outdoor living skills and general preparedness have been prominent aspects of life for as long as I can remember. I appreciate reading member posts and finding out what other preppers in the UK are up to.

Not too terrible where I am, but we do have some pretty nasty icy road conditions and a lot of school/business closures. Hope it's tolerable for everyone else!
