Nip round to his house and give him a Number 1 with the clippers. That'll teach him...
Hi Itsybitsy - I'm slightly worried about your suggestion that I nip round and give him a number 1 with the clippers, are you suggesting that I urinate on a celebrity ? I'm really not sure that this is the best approach and may be frowned on in polite society. Also clippers - is this a euphemism ?

You preppers are beginning to worry me.

stephen, I was brought up in Devon and have spent most of my life here(apart from 10 years in Glastonbury), my family is from Devon-going back for generations, and there is nowhere else i'd rather be, Cornwall is ok for the bucket and spade brigade, but there are too many incomers crammed into a small county.

Hi Bulldogeagle - 10 years in Glastonbury ? Gadzooks, could you not find the keys to your Berlingo ? Seriously though, you must have been terrified. Were you aware of your surroundings ? Did no one offer to help ? That's typical of today's 'me me me' culture. I can really understand your predicament, I got lost in Asda this morning between the Deli and World Foods trying to find Marmite.

Your love for Devon is apparent in the passionate way in which you write about it. I remember seeing the great Devon comedian Jethro who had the audience rolling in the aisles when he said that Jesus could not have been born in Devon as you could not find three wise men and a virgin. You are so lucky having Jethro, all we have up here is Jasper Carrot and Frank Skinner (Although I was always suspicious of his relationship with that Jewish boy). You mention your Other Half (OH - I'm begining to get the hang of this !!), I assume that your are only related by marriage - Another Jethro classic

Can I call you Bull ? Its easier than typing out Bulldogeagle over and over again and, to be honest, meaning no offence to any others on this board, I'm pretty sure that you are the only person who takes me seriously. I know that I an a poor, sad straight but I would appreciate it. I am happy for you to call me Steph (pronounced Steve - obviously) if you like.
