Interesting stuff. (did fancy a £44 2m metal lockable storage unit on a site add, but they wanted £27 p & p. )

Saw that nice young Mr Fry on Q.I. the other week, using Baking Soda and white vinegar to make a jug of CO2 which he poured into a container. Now, could that be used in storage (especially things like sealable buckets) to assist the process ?

Much cheaper and easier to buy a block of 'dry ice' and drop a golf ball sized chunk into each bucket. the chunk sublimes slowly and displaces the air.
