The avatar is Thomas Malthus (wikip....). He did a lot of work involving theories around population, growth, resources etc. His writtings could make anyone run to the shop and stock up on everything.....maybe. Either way, he said it a long time ago, has been heavily criticised, including last week in the Guardian, but utimately the human race will prove him right. He struck a cord with me as don't really care about climate change as that will happen anyway but we have too many people and the number has gone up 3 times since 1950. That's why I'm here.
