What Preps are you doing this week

just bought some more AA/AAA batteries, wick for my oil lamps, gas canisters for camping stove and will get OH to do supermarket run for food supplies etc before the snow arrives next weekend.

I just made a monthly shopping list...reckon it'll take a couple of supermarket runs on Monday.
Doubled my butane/propane stash and invested in duplicate camping stoves.

Just been downloading information stuff (from Drumrunners.com) ready to print off and develop a file of information. Some good stuff on there. Just need to buy some more ink for the printer to do that

Bought a suitable snow shovel
Bought some salt for the drive and paths
Bought some torches for EDC gifts
Installed lagging on exposed pipework
Added some longlife milk and sugar to the preps
Tidied the garage, but not yet been able to make any more room..DOH!

This week I purchased lots of rice and raman noodles. The check out girl looked at me like I was mad!

I've had that look many times over the last few years, recently bought some Bachelors golden rice on offer from Asda, 4 for £1.00 so i bought 80 packets, you can only imagine the look people were giving me as they chuckled to themselves saying "he`ll never eat all that rice this week" as they continued to load up they trolleys with fizzy pop and crisps...LOL

I have also stocked up on fizzy drink and crisps. Grandkids will consume them over Cristmas if they last that long
