Knitting Socks

Post by itsybitsy »

I want have a go at knitting my own, seeing as Lil, rather unsportingly, told me to eff off when I asked her to knit me some pink ones...

I can knit - but I'm very, very rusty and am not an 'advanced' knitter. So, I basically haven't got a clue. Any advice? Where to start? :?

I haven't even bought needles yet! There's a wool shop near to work but I won't have chance to get there until next week. I'm hoping to have a pair finished before Christmas. That may be a bit optimistic, however...

I'll send you a photo. I'm saying it's still there - but I haven't been in for a few years so it may have turned into another cafe bar!!! :(
